General Information

Main Street students are expected to abide by and obey the rules and dress code set by their teacher.
Parent/teacher conferences will be set throughout the year to discuss each student's progress.
Students will be praised weekly on progress, good behavior and Christian-like actions.
Monthly newsletters will be given out to keep you informed of upcoming events and dates. Information will also be posted on this website.
Main Street will observe the same holiday schedule as the Tangipahoa Parish School System.
Good attendance is necessary in order for each student to maintain class instruction as well as progress. Perfect attendance awards will be given out at the conclusion of the dance year.
Students should arrive and be picked up for class on time.
Students should use the bathroom before class.
Water bottles only are allowed in class.

2008 Fall Registration

Fall classes begin August 18th

Friday, August 1st from 2:00-6:00 & Saturday, August 2nd from10:00-2:00
Registration Fee- $25 ($10 for returning summer students)

Expenses for the year

Tuition is due at the first of the month. A $10.00 late fee will be added to accounts not paid by the 10th of each month. $20.00 NSF charge on returned checks.
*Costumes will be ordered December 1st.
**Deposits are non-refundable once costumes have been ordered.

Creative Classes
October 15th, 1st deposit- $50.00
November 15th, 2nd deposit- $50.00

Level 1,2, 3, 4, & 5 Classes
October 15th, 1st deposit- $75.00
November 15th, 2nd deposit- $75.00

All other classes
October 15th, only deposit- $50.00

The balance on costumes will be due during the month of February. No costumes will be ordered until deposits are paid. Recital fee, date and other information will be given out later in the year. All students will be required to have their picture in the recital program. Program fee will be given out later in the year.

Creative Dance Classes (Angels) - Red Main Street leotard, tan tights, pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes, hair up in ponytail or bun

PreDanceClasses (Lil Sweethearts and Princesses) - Black Main Street leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes, hair up in bun.

Levels 1,2 & 3 Combination Classes (Showstoppers, All Stars and Superstars and Hip Hop 1)
Ballet Classes - Royal Blue Main Street leotard, pink tights, pink split sole ballet shoes, hair in bun
Tap & Jazz Classes - Royal Blue Main Street leotard, pink or tan tights, black capris or hot pants, black jazz shoes, black lace up tap shoes, hair in bun

Levels 4 & 5 and (Supermodels, Divas and Hip Hop 2)
Ballet Classes - Black Main Street leotard, pink tights, pink split sole ballet shoes, hair in bun
Tap & Jazz Classes - Black Main Street leotard, tan or pink tights, black capris or hot pants, black jazz shoes, black lace up tap shoes, hair in bun

*Main Street leotards will be available for purchase through the studio.
